## The world’s radiation map, measured by its people

Thousands of RadiaCode owners record dose rate wherever they walk, drive and fly. Radiaverse turns those tracks into one shared map, with the places worth knowing about described by the people who found them.

## From a pocket detector to a shared map

Everything on the map is public and free to browse. An account is only needed to publish.

1. ### Measure

A RadiaCode detector in your pocket logs dose rate and location every second, on a walk, a road trip or a flight.

2. ### Share a track

Publish the recording from the RadiaCode app. Your track joins the map, anonymously if you prefer, and its points feed the hexagon layer everyone sees.

3. ### Explore and describe

Zoom from country coverage down to single measurements. Found something? Outline it as an area, add photos and context, and discuss it with others.

## Radiation mapping near you

What the community has already measured in your country, and who is doing it.

## New on the map

Areas with photos or videos published in the last month, the freshest and most discussed first.

## Who is mapping the world

Coverage counts unique cells at street resolution, so driving the same road twice does not count twice.

## Privacy and data quality

Sharing measurements should never mean sharing where you live. The full details are in the [Privacy Policy](https://radiaverse.com/privacy).

### Your data, your call

- Private until you publish

Tracks stay private by default. Making one public takes a separate, explicit consent.

- Publish anonymously

Public tracks can hide who recorded them while their measurements still count on the map. Your profile shows a nickname, never your Google or Apple name.

- A 24-hour delay

Public tracks are held back for a day before anyone else sees them, so nobody can follow you in real time.

- Export or delete, any time

Request a copy of your data or delete your account from your profile. Accounts inactive for 36 months are removed, with a warning first.

### Keeping the map honest

- Precise positions only

Measurements with poor GPS accuracy, worse than 15 metres, are left off the map.

- Sensitive places protected

Measurements inside protected locations are removed from public view.

- Reviewed areas

New areas and edits to existing ones are reviewed by moderators before they go public.

- Moderated conversations

Comments pass automatic moderation checks, and signed-in users can report any track, area or comment.

- No raw coordinate dumps

Public interfaces never hand out raw GPS tracks, and scraping is rate-limited and blocked.

Every track, area and map discovery starts with a real detector. Pick one up, install the RadiaCode app, and your first walk is already a contribution.
